when using the batting or Cotton for snow where ever you can put little lights under it... gives it that special twinkle... and glow...
use lots of candles and glitter....
to give glass that frosted look spray them with clear matte paint... this can be done in designs or just frosted.... some one already mentioned snowflakes....
you can take branches and glue and glitter them put in jars or buckets...

When does Disney start putting up their xmas decorations, specifically the gingerbread house in the grand flor

The gingerbread house inside the Grand Floridian starts to be assembled when?

You are going at the perfect time. All the decorations will be up. I went at that time last November. It was gorgeous. The gingerbread house is actually a little store where you can buy delicious cookies, treats, etc. There is so much lights in Mgm that it took us an hour to go through and take pictures. There are many huge, decorated Christmas trees up, and wreaths, etc.
