2010 marks the 25th anniversary of the Christopher Radko Company designing European glass ornaments. Christopher Radko released a number of rare anniversary Christmas ornaments commemorating the anniversary and giving collectors the opportunity to purchase a rare holiday ornament. The Christopher Radko brand is now known as one of the most collected Christmas ornaments available.

1. Charitable fundraising efforts.

Each year, ornaments are selected for charitable fundraising efforts. The Charity Awareness designs for 2010 include beneficeries like AIDS, Alzheimer's, Animal Rights Organizations, Breast Cancer, and Diabetes to name a few.

2. Retiring ornaments annually.

Approximately one third of Christopher Radko ornaments are retired each, thus making each retired ornament highly collectible. As each year passes, demand for the retired ornaments increases. For example, the ornament named "Partridge In a Pear Tree" was originally priced at $38.00 and has sold for as much as $1,000. The collectability of the ornaments keeps collectors coming back for new ornaments every year.

3. Craftmanship, quality, and design.

Requiring seven days to create, artists in Poland, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic contribute their talents to produce the mouth-blown, hand-painted glass ornaments that are made entirely by hand, using a 19th century process. Radko ornaments bring warmth, sparkle and color into your home during the holidays.
